Beware of HP users! Found a keylogger in the brand's lap-tops
By recording every letter on the computer, it was noticed that a hidden software was preinstalled on hundreds of HP Laptop models. HP said more than 460 laptop models were exposed to "potential security vulnerabilities". Customers released a software patch on behalf of removing the keylogger.
Keylogger is a hidden software that records every letter written on the keyboard. Computers can be installed by users for security purposes, but at the same time, cyber attackers can load your computer in various ways. With this software, users can be traced from personal information to financial information.
The US technology maker, HP, faced a similar criminal charge. Noticed that over 500 computer models were installed, keylogger software created a huge security vulnerability and HP gathered great reaction. But the firm accepted the problem with the explanation and made a new update to solve the problem.
Now, the keylogger software has been re-installed in the drive of a program that helps to operate the touchpad. HP, which received the status last month by providing feedback to Zwclose that notifies HP, has just released a Driver update. Explaining the list of computers where the keylogger software is located, the company is working to get the error out of the way by completing the updates.
