The Podesta brothers, John and Tony, were involved in unethical activity long before Pizzagate. The Podesta Group subverted human rights and humanitarian aid on several occasions for many years. In addition, the Podesta Group has very strong ties and clientele with organizations in Russia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and more. They also retain a number of lucrative contracts to peculiar organizations like Alphabet (Google), BP, General Electric, Hitomi Financial, Lockheed Martin, Sotheby's, Wal-Mart and more.

The Podesta Group and the Podesta brothers have a very complicated history, but this article will sum this up in a logical manner. The objective is to build a profile of the Podesta brothers and their business interests which should provide us with a factual, objective sense of their motives, methods and patterns of behavior. Their connections are sometimes outright bizarre, so take a moment to absorb it all. At first we'll discuss the Podesta Group itself, and then move into profiling John and Tony individually.

The Podesta Group

Podesta Group was established by Tony and John Podesta in 1987. According to the Podesta Group themselves, they are, "A top-ranked, bipartisan team of global public affairs specialists."(1)

In the beginning during the 1990s the Podesta Group's biggest clients were Merck and Digital Equipment Corporation in their defense against the FBI's wiretapping abilities on the industry. The brothers would also serve as Democrat "watchdogs" (a la David Brock) and conduct opposing research to Republic platforms in support of Bill Clinton.(2)

During the Clinton administration John Podesta would leave the firm to defend Bill Clinton as the "Secretary of Feces", the name dubbed to the public relations job of handling Bill's many scandals and his impeachment.(3)

John Podesta would return as a lobbyist for the group until at least 2005. In 2003 John became president for the Center for American Progress and eventually in 2008 he would begin working with Barack Obama on his transition to the White House.(4)

Tony Podesta would continue to run the Podesta Group, however, and would remain close with his brother. In 2009, for example, Podesta Group client Walmart donated at least $500,000 to the Center for American Progress. Podesta Group also lobbied on behalf of Obamacare while John was an advisor to the President.(5)

During this time Tony Podesta developed a peculiar list of contacts and associates, particularly the Congressman they worked closely with. Many of these figures have their own pages on the Pizzagate Wiki for their connections to pedophilia scandals, but here's a breakdown:

• Rep. Barney Frank - one of the representatives lobbied to by the Podesta Group to help stop SEC regulations.(6)
• Sen. Chuck Schumer - Podesta Group lobbyist Israel Klein was a top aide to Chuck Schumer of New York (7) and Schumer was a "friend" of Hillary Clinton's.(8)
• Rep. Dennis Hastert - admittedly close friend of Tony Podesta and associate to John Podesta for many years as revealed by WikiLeaks.(9)

Historically the Podesta Group has had a checkered past with human rights issues. In 2013 The Guardian criticized the Podesta Group for taking on Iraq Prime Minister Nouri al-Malki as a client. Apparently, John was chosen in particular for, "boss Tony Podesta's relationship with top Democrats — including Vice President Joe Biden."(10) It was reported by NPR (oddly enough a client of the Podesta Group) that Nouri al-Malki's government during this time would use "barrel bombs", IEDs and other "indiscriminate weapons" to fight ISIS forces, most killing civilians and the rest arming the ISIS forces with the bombs themselves.(11)

At around the same time the Podesta Group also assisted the central bank of Somalia. The bank had been accused by United Nations monitors as being a "slush fund for government officials." While several lobbying groups backed out of support for Somalia in light of this, the Podesta Group vowed to, "Help the country strengthen its relationships with the American government."(12) Somalia has continued to experience an ever-worsening and now decades long struggle with human rights abuses perpetrated by a corrupt government.(13)

The Podestas also assisted Hosni Mubarak of Egypt in preventing U.S. legislation against human rights abuses there.(14) In 2009 Human Rights Watch reported that 5,000 to 10,000 Egyptians were arbitrarily detained (sometimes in broad daylight) and regularly subjected to torture and abuse.(15) Reporters Without Borders has ranked Egypt 143rd out of 167 countries in terms of press freedom.(16)

The Podesta Group and close associate Hillary Clinton have several ties to the Saudi royal family according to details revealed in the Panama Papers leaks. Saudi Arabia is a major perpetrator of fundamentalist extremism throughout the world in addition to countless other abuses. Saudi human rights lawyer Abdulaziz al-Hussan recalled that, when he worked as a human rights lobbyist in the West, he was constantly, "depressed by how nobody wanted to say anything about human rights in Saudi, because of all the money."(17)

The Panama Papers also revealed that the Podesta Group lobbied on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo.(18) Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thachi is a friend of Hillary Clinton and the Clinton foundation as well as a member of the Albanian mafia and is connected to Kosovo's decades-long international organ and sex trade also connected to DynCorp.(19)

Aside from just human rights abuses, more recently the Podesta Group was hired to represent Sberbank, a Russian quasi-government run (a la Federal Reserve) banking group controlling over 30% of the country's wealth, making it the largest in the country.(20) This is interesting to note given John Podesta's recent demonizations of Russia as the "hackers" who leaked his emails.

A final point on Podesta Group specifically I'd like to make is the connections between it and the Washington Post newspaper. The Washington Post not only has notable (self-admitted) ties to the CIA,(21) but they are also intimately linked with the Podesta Group. Tony Podesta himself worked with Washington Post(22) in addition to two other Podesta Group employees.(23)(24) The Washington Post was among the first newspapers to openly defend John Podesta and "debunk" Pizzagate as "fake news",(25) and in a great act of irony most recently hired John Podesta as a columnist.(25)

John Podesta

John Podesta, lovingly dubbed the "Secretary of Feces", has a long history of scandal-management and cover-ups, especially for the Clintons and Barack Obama. John played a role in managing many of the scandals that surrounded the Clintons in addition to his role as Hillary's campaign chairman. His tasks included public relations for scandals like Hillary's suspicious profits trading cattle futures, Whitewater, Monica Lewinsky, impeachment, and the "Travel Office affair". In May 1993, a senior administration official, David Watkins, fired all seven members of the White House Travel Office to make way for Arkansas cronies of the Clintons. A picaresque enterprise with lucrative connections to the airline charter business, the Travel Office handled travel arrangements for the White House press corps.(26)

John Podesta's odd friendships definitely don't end there, however. John has a long-time friendship with lawyer Peter Kadzik. A WikiLeaks email was discovered from John Podesta which describes Peter Kadzik as a, "Fantastic lawyer. Kept me out of jail."(27) It is believed this is a reference to when John Podesta committed perjury before a grand jury during the Monica Lewinsky/Clinton scandal.(28)

During the 2000s John Podesta wecome a subordinate to Democratic Party leader and financier, George Soros. Podesta can be found, for instance, sending "strategic initiatives" for George Soros' approval.(29)

John Podesta also has a seeming fascination with occult and "fringe" ideas. Many note his relationship with "performance artist" Marina Abramovic. WikiLeaks emails revealed that Abramovic invited John and Tony to private "Spirit Cooking" sessions at John's home.(30) Abramovic stated in a Reddit AMA that such private displays, "are not considered art."(31) In addition to the occult, John also worked with UFO researcher Dr. Steven Greer on the "Disclosure Project" including the creation of a memo to be sent to then-President Barack Obama about the subject of extraterrestrials.(32)

Many researchers also point out further peculiarities in John and Tony's tastes in art. John himself is famous for a picture hung up in his campaign office which depicted two individuals standing over an unconscious body with a knife and fork. When asked about the painting, John jokingly responded, "I’m behind the counter because I don’t want to be the meal."(33)

Finally, John and Tony are also both noted friends of James Achilles Alefantis, owner of Comet Ping Pong and ex-lover of David Brock. John Podesta specifically arranged for fundraisers at Comet Ping Pong for both the Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton campaigns.(34)(35) John even cooked with James personally.(36)

Tony Podesta

Tony Podesta has been called the 3rd most influential lobbyist in Washington,(37) at one point was even an aide to Ted Kennedy(38) and can even be found on the guest list of Bohemian Grove.(39) His connections to the political elite are almost unrivaled in Washington and he has been the center of many controversies. As we'll come to find, he's a very peculiar individual as well.

In addition to all the other previously mentioned facts, such as his friendship with child molester David Hastert, his ties to the Washington Post and the shady activities of the Podesta Group, Tony Podesta is most famously close friends with both James Achilles Alefantis and his ex-boyfriend and Internet troll David Brock.(40) James Alefantis and Tony share birthdays almost every year and often do so at Comet Ping Pong.(41) Tony Podesta has also hosted galleries for James Alefantis' Transformer D.C.(42) Washington Life Magazine reported more on their close friendship:(43)

[Tony Podesta] regularly opens his house to casual pizza parties co-hosted by his friend James Alefantis, the owner of Comet Ping Pong. Over 200 pies emerge from the outdoor pizza oven as guests wander through the house and garden while studying his art collection.

As for Tony's art collection, many have noted fairly disturbing tastes on display which has been the subject of controversy even in the mainstream media. For instance Tony was quoted as telling reporters visiting his home, "I don’t know why it is, but I have artworks where the women have no heads."(44)

Another example is that Tony collects and displays pieces by Biljana Djurdjevic.(45) Many of Djurdjevic's works depict the abuse of children and would be too graphic to post here, but here's a look at Tony's own living room:

The Arch of Hysteria by Louise Bourgeois is also on display, which is the golden statue seen in Tony's home in the picture with James Alefantis above. It is strongly believed that this statue depicts one of the victims of Jeffrey Dahmer, who was similarly beheaded and placed in this pose just a couple years before the statue's creation.

Perhaps some of the most disturbing works come from the "Podesta favourite", Patricia Piccinini.(46) This particular gem was one of her pieces owned by Tony Podesta and he and his wife owned many more:(47)

Other artists such as Margi Geerlinks and Anna Gaskell, also featured by Tony Podesta, produce disturbing, borderline works which are definitely too inappropriate to post here. For good reason then many of worried what Tony meant when he told The Guardian about his home's basement for the display of "very complicated video pieces":(48)

Conclusion

Tony and John Podesta, when looked at individually and as a whole, share very disturbing characteristics in common and appear to have a solid pattern of carrying out a dark agenda. The Podesta Group, their flagship, is the perfect representation of its founders in its pursuance of human rights abuse and the support of ruthless, autocratic leaders, human traffickers and pedophiles throughout the world.

As John becomes a syndicated columnist for the Washington Post, be ever mindful of the mainstream media's quickness to deem political opposition as "fake news". Also never forget the strange behaviors of Tony Podesta, which seem to suggest he has powerful handlers who are able to allow his odd behavior and significant political influence. We must continue to investigate them and their associates for what leads we can find, as it is indeed a dark and tangled web the Podesta brothers weave.
