OverGrow Canada And Reap A Harvest of Freedom.
It's that time of year again and Dana Larsen has just announced that his team will start giving away free cannabis seeds for the second year in a row.
You can place your order now and the seeds will be shipped to you in 2 weeks time.
The team's goal is to give away 5 million seeds in 2017 and encourage Victory Cannabis Gardens to sprout up everywhere. Cannabis Prohibition will end when we overgrow the Canadian government with a seed, some soil, some sunlight and some water... X 5 MILLION.
Last year Dana and his team, gave away over 2.3 million seeds across Canada. The seeds are free but if you are interested in receiving some, you must pay for the shipping costs which are $2.50 and agree to actually plant the seeds in a visible location. You will receive 100 seeds per order, so share them around as much as you can. The goal is to have cannabis growing freely, like any other weed does.
The seeds are a strain of cannabis called Freedom Dream and the females will contain approximately 10-12% CBD and next to no THC.
The plants can get to be 5 feet tall, if all the growing conditions are right. They are not all females so you will have to separate the males from the females if you want to produce buds that aren't full of seeds. If the female plants don't become pollinated by a male, they will produce a large central bud with minimal side branches.
You can smoke, vapourize or make an extract out of the plant material. It will be beneficial for pain relief but does not contain enough THC to produce a psychoactive effect.

Here's one of my OverGrow Girls from last year. It was the first time I grew and I took the risk because Cannabis prohibition needs to end on this planet, so that the people can have easy, affordable access to the plant medicine that is their birth-right.

your lil girl is beautiful..reminds me of the plantation that the military burnt a few years ago in the philippines.

Thankful, I did manage to get her to flower but she was completely covered with mites and she was burnt, just like the plantation in the Philippines.

Ive learnt that here in UK, growing marijuana for personal use is allowed.
Yes they did, but the beautiful thing was that I did learn some new skills...like that I actual can grow successfully and that just the right amount of water and sunlight make all the difference. I have read that all growers of this herb, just like growers who grow any other crop, have to content with bug infestations. How you handle that, matters a great deal.
I guess bugs know so much more than humans that way...
Yes and I think they have fantastic taste too...My girls must have been good because they were absolutely loaded with mites and they were grown outside.

Here in Oregon, people can grow 6 plants for their own medical use, or 4 plants per household for recreational use. It would be nice if other places were as accommodating. Medical marijuana sure helps a lot of people - a lot. I think of Canada as being more open than the US for some things, but I hope you can be as free as Oregon -- soon! Here's to a successful growing season for you!
Thanks @haphazard-hstead. I really hope the OverGrow Canada movement will spread to other countries too. It's a weed and will grow anywhere, if there is no fear of persecution around it.
Growing up in Kansas, we had "Ditch Weed" everywhere. No good for smoking at all, it was just the wild hemp. Definitely a vigorous weed! The authorities sure spent a lot of money getting rid of it all. What a pointless effort. :O
