Governments must be really out of money, as we see the waves of legalization everywhere happening. And this is good, but I think they are just doing this now, to get more tax revenue, as the global economy is collapsing they just look to squeeze every penny out of people.
Perhaps. I'm not going to complain though if it continues to get them to be more pragmatic.
Well at certain points even the government (as irrational as they are) has to recognize that they cant have power over everything. Sending people to jail for victimless crimes is very evil.
They can get their taxes, but at least dont ruin the lives of stupid teenagers whos parents didnt told them to stay away from drugs, by imprisoning them.
Drug addicts need therapy not prison. And people who do it for fun should not be sent to jail.
