Iran has forbidden Pokémon GO

The authorities of Iran have made the decision to block in the country mobile game with augmented reality of Pokémon GO for safety reasons, BBC reports. The relevant decree was issued by the Supreme council of virtual spaces — the official body exercising supervision of the Internet and online activity of citizens of Iran.

What the threat to security consists in, officials haven't specified. From the moment of the exit Pokémon GO was exposed to criticism and in some other countries, however Iran became the first state which has forbidden game at the national level. Earlier Indonesia has forbidden police officers to catch Pokemons on duty. Besides, it was reported that the administration of New York has forbidden to play Pokémon GO to the conditional released criminals condemned for rape and pedophilia.
