BREAKING NEWS: Russian military plane with 15 on board disappears during Israeli strikes on Latakia
Last night we had another big step towards the Great War, which should mark the end of a cycle…
Air traffic controllers at the Khmeimim Airbase “lost contact” with the Russian military Il-20 aircraft with 15 service members on board, during an attack by four Israeli jets on Syria’s Latakia province, by the report issued from the Russian Defense Ministry. Russian radars also registered the launch of missiles from a French frigate in the Mediterranean on the evening of September 17.
The Ilyushin 20 (IL-20) surveillance turboprop plane is an Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) platform, equipped with a wide range of antennas, infrared and optical sensors. The aircraft's SLAR (Side-Looking Airborne Radar) and the plane's satellite link allows the Russian military to monitor Syrian skies in real time.
We can expect that Russians won’t take any hasty moves before the investigation is over, but this is one big step towards the Great War projected by the plutocracy as the final step in their escape from responsibility.
LATEST: Russian MoD stated that Ilyushin 20 (IL-20) surveillance aircraft was downed by the Syrian defensive projectile, and accused Israeli Army for creating a deadly situation by using Russian plane as a shield and sending information about their action just one minute before the attack.
its time to get serious
It’s time to get S-300, @smidge-tv.
What can go wrong?
Russia should've shot down the Israeli fighters right away. That was another blunder of restraint which is exceedingly typical of Russia foreign policy. The opportunity passed Russia by, b/c international relations-wise Russia can't do much now even if she "reserves the right to respond."
What a shame...the 'people' of those countries have suffered enough.
