Abigail Suzanne Martin (born September 6, 1984) is an American journalist and presenter of The Empire Files, an investigative news program on teleSUR English and YouTube. She was the host of highly esteemed show “Breaking the Set” on RT America network, working from the Washington, D.C. bureau.
Martin is also an artist and activist, and helped found the citizen journalism website Media Roots. She serves on the board of directors for the Media Freedom Foundation which manages Project Censored. Martin appeared in the documentary film Project Censored The Movie: Ending the Reign of Junk Food News (2013), and co-directed 99%: The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film (2013).
I think that, all currently active ideologies are outdated. Capitalism may be useful in 19th and 20th century, but now, in informational era, we need new ideas. In my opinion, a mix of ecology, solidarity, globalism and spiritualism would be the best ideology for us, now in 21th century.
Please define “globalism” @genijex. This term is simply too freely interpreted and terribly misused. Thank you for your support.
For me, globalism is a demolition of human made barriers of different societies. Humanity should unite. Globalism means one trade market, one currency, one society, same standards and no war (religious wars, wars for resources, wars because of territorial disputes...). Maybe I am wrong, but that is my picture of globalism.
