You are correct, this is exactly what is going on:

General Mattis and Robert Mueller are two amongst many Deep State operatives (according to ex-CIA agen Kevin Shipp).
I've been saying it for a while now that Trump is now mostly under their control and practically powerless at this point.
Honestly (and sadly), at this point, I just don't see how the Deep State will be stopped, nor how the Constitution will not continue to be decimated.
It appears to me, prove me otherwise, there are not enough true patriots in America that have the courage to do what is needed. The longer the delay, the more impossible the task.
