The US authorities allowed bitcoin to the US stock exchange
Exchange operator CME Group and Chicago exchange of options CBOE Global Markets have received permission from the regulator to launch trading in futures for the index bitcoin. This is another confirmation that the crypto currency is still, at least a couple of years, will be maintained at the previous level by people's interest.
The commission also authorized the Cantor Exchange (a subsidiary of the brokerage company Cantor Fitzgerald) to trade binary options for bitcoin.
Futures allow you to sell and buy assets in the future at the price determined at the time of the transaction. With their help, traders can protect themselves from fluctuations in the bitcoin rate, and also bet on the growth or decrease in its value.
The date of launching trading in bitcoin futures is December 18 this year. This news provoked the growth rate from less than 10 thousand, to $ 10,614 by CoinDesk.
The commission noted that bitcoin and crypto-currencies are still largely uncontrolled markets.
Recall that one of the major US stock exchanges NASDAQ planned to issue futures for bitcoin in the first half of 2018.
