Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8G video card has overclocking function

The main feature of the Aorus-version of the accelerator GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is the significant difference between its operating frequencies in Gaming and OC modes, which are activated via the Arous Graphics Engine.

The game preset specifies the frequencies of the graphics processor at the level of 1607-1683 MHz, and the overclocker one - 1683-1771 MHz.

Playing with the frequency of GDDR5 memory in NVIDIA is not allowed, therefore in all modes of the VRAM chip work on the recommended 2002 (8008) MHz.

The video card occupies two expansion slots on the motherboard - 280 mm in length and 111 mm in width.

The pre-installed WindForce 3X cooler consists of four copper heat pipes with direct contact technology with a graphic core, a three-section aluminum radiator, three 80 mm fans with a relief impeller and a decorative casing. At a low temperature coolers are automatically turned off.

The power supply system of the core and memory is executed according to the "6 + 2" scheme. The additional power connector for the novelty has eight contacts, so the power consumption during overclocking should not exceed 225 watts.

For the output of the image there are five connectors: three DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0b and one Dual-Link DVI-D. The list of supported resolutions includes even 8K.
