PANIC IN ZIMBABWE As Military Takes Over Streets! - MASSIVE Shift In Power

In this video, I talk with author and economic analyst John Sneisen about the massive military takeover of Zimbabwe as 92 year old President Robert Mugabe is put under house arrest.

The military has taken over the streets in Zimbabwe in what appears to be a coup. Though the military claimed after seizing a television station that there was no coup but that they were simply going after corrupt and dangerous people within the government.

One of those people was reportedly the Zimbabwe Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa who was detained after a shootout at his home which left one bodyguard dead.

Mugabe has held power for 37 years and was allegedly about to hand power over to his wife after firing the Vice President. This led to another massive conflict which Zimbabwe is quite used to. Mugabe has starved his people. He has turned Zimbabwe into what was once known as the "bread basket" of Africa into an impoverished, corrupted collective society.

Mugabe as a so-called "revolutionary" who has praised people like Fidel Castro brought his nation into one of the largest hyperinflationary scenarios ever recorded with HUNDRED TRILLION dollar bills that were worth next to nothing.
In 2016 it was announced that Zimbabwe would back its currency with the US dollar.

Mugabe perfectly proves the peril of centralization, statism and collective coercion of individuals. This needs to be a lesson to others around the world and to those in Zimbabwe going forward. One must understand the problems in order to apply solutions and unfortunately it looks like this problem will continue to run in circles as another state apparatus may be put in place in the coming days or weeks.

There's no saying exactly where this will go but in the simplest terms, either way it will result in more collectivism regardless of the demand of free individuals.

Mugabe is a monster and yet so many revere him. Yet another reason why this situation is so volatile and dangerous.
