MASS EXODUS From Venezuela! - The Inevitable End Of Fiat (Freedom Minute)

In this video, I do another freedom minute update! In this quick report, Venezuela is witnessing a massive exodus as hyperinflation reaches its inevitable end. Oil workers are starving and the country has for the most part run out of paper to print passports.

People are forced to break into zoos for food and Maduro has handed out rabbits for people to raise and eat.

Once again, another example of why we have to stand as individuals rather than giant centralized collectives under the boot of state.

That is so sad. Venezuela is rich in natural resources and there is no reason for things to be this way. Socialists in this country like Bernie Sanders and his followers should take a hard look at that country and see what the true effect of socialism is. I can't imagine what it would be like to try to provide for a family under those conditions.

It is extremely complicated, believe me ... socialism is the sum of many utopian ideas that try to transform man endogenously but forgetting about the Creator. It is an economic hypocrisy where the poor become poorer and the rich richer; this is a thousand times wilder than "capitalism" per se.

I hope you and your family can make it through this safely, my friend. There is a good website called The Modern Survivalist by Fernando Aguirre, who survived the economic collapse in Argentina and moved his family to Europe when he was able to. I think the situation in Venezuela right now is much worse than it ever was in Argentina. Aguirre also wrote a book called Surviving the Economic Collapse describing his experience with the ordeal and offering his advice on the subject.

Thank you very much for the recommendation and for your good wishes. Without a doubt I will read the experiences of Aguirre because surely we can learn a lot, however, certainly the Venezuelan situation is unprecedented ... at least in Latin America.

Wow, a Mad Max scene in real life. Scary! Thanks for bringing us real news, Josh and WAM!

And that is just a bit of the whole situation that is lived here daily ... but God is our protection

OOh god... I'm astonishing to see the Mad Max scene in real life... It's scary...Really heartbroken news..
I'm just amazing that how come ???
Thank you lot for your true news post.
Great to the share

It is a dangerous cocktail shaped by much political idolatry, ignorance, and excessive ambition of power. Many today we still ask ourselves, how did we come to this?

If the government give strongly protection... then possible to come back.. otherwise impossible.
Really excessive ambition of power making devil's someone.

Exactly that is the problem, that the government does not protect even its own people. They are part of the problem and not the solution.

This is so sad to see. I can’t even go visit my family trapped in Venezuela because of this madness. I think about their safety everyday. Thankfully crypto is keeping some alive. Great post Josh.

It is a great truth that you say: cryptocurrencies and "freelance" jobs are feeding many Venezuelans. Earnings can triple or quadruple (even more) those of a conventional job; Obviously, that is largely a product of hyperinflation and the wild devaluation of the currency. Trials are really the mentors of changes.

Their Petro would be a joke if the situation wasn't so very dier for the people of that failed state.

It is, in fact, a joke, and I really say it with sadness. The vast majority of people do not even understand the subject of "cryptocurrencies" and we already have our own? the same proposal of the violent "Petro" what made Bitcoin attractive from the beginning: to decentralization.

If your people reject it & use it not, the Petro won't deliver it's punch line.

Of course ... but it is clear that government people and "pro-government" businessmen have already participated in the presale to give it a certain boost ... from the economic point of view it is a project that was born dead.

Stillborn from a witches womb...creepy zombi currency of death.

I don’t understand how there isn’t a full blown rebellion?

It's not that easy, my friend @bearbear613 ... here the context is different, for example in the case of Ukraine. For there to be a social implosion like Ukraine or Zimbabwe, several factors must be conjugated, which, at least for now, are not given.

They´re too hungry; for instance, the miners down there can barely do their jobs because of malnutrition. It´d be tougher to go against a socialist regime, especially one with well-fed troops and stronger weapons.

You are very right, dear friend ... hunger often makes them more vulnerable to government "aid"; which, viewed from afar, it is obvious that it is populism on a large scale.

Awful true, my friend @joshsigurdson ... and said "exodus" is just the problem of form, the underlying problem is the moral depravity manifested in corruption, delinquency, immorality, and lack of basic services. God is our help.

The problems in Venezuela are not getting enough attention. I was aware that things were bad in Venezuela - but I wasn't aware just how dire. I did some digging around on the Google Machine, and the Washington Post is basically calling it Latin America's version of the Syrian crisis.

As a Venezuelan and as a connoisseur of the conflict in the Middle East, I tell you that my country is much worse ... this is political indolence mixed with popular ignorance. Only God can get us out of this situation.

This is a truly awful state of affairs, and brings sadness every time I hear or think about it.

what a mess created by the leaders of this country did to their people.Maduro must be put to jail for his crimes against his people.
