How to technology : The boring company built it's first car/pod elevator

Well things seems to be starting off !
First of all, Here is the actual digger :
And now they are making the actual car/pod elevator, which, if you remember is supposed to do the transition between surface and underground :
And he said they should be operating next week !
Things are advancing fast, perhaps we will see a complete working prototype soon. Note that the actual digger is already digging. They will probably by an waste ground close to LA and make it come out here. This way spaceX workers will be able to go to work a lot faster.
