Josh Friedman and fixer David Mazat follow migrants as they appear to be led by smugglers across the Suchiate River from Guatemala into Mexico, just days after clashes between Mexican police and a migrant caravan occurred nearby in and around the river. Friedman and Mazat also detail their limited interactions with the migrants and suspected smugglers.
