Top 3 Steemit News Of The Week

With the cryptocurrency craze unfolding at full speed nowadays it's easy to lose track of what really matters. The price of Bitcoin looks unstoppable, there's news popping out about yet another ICO almost every week and, on top of that, everybody and their mothers seem to have some sort of a startup in fintech. Steemit ecosystem is also flourishing these days, with all this new money coming in and with the much needed afflux of new members.

But there's also need for some grounding and to separate noise from signal. So here what are the top most important Steemit related news for this week (at least from my angle).

1. Steem To Be Added To BTCC

Without a doubt, the most important thing happening right now, price-wise, it's the Twitter BTCC poll to include a new crypto to their operations. STEEM was making it into semi-finals, against much more powerful competitors, like Zcash, for instance, and it's now in the final round, just 2% below the first place, Ethereum Classic. So, there is still time to vote for it (just one day left, though, so let's push it, guys):

2. Vessel - The Steem Desktop Wallet By @jesta

One of the veterans on the Steem ecosystem, @jesta, announced this week an impressive project: Vessel - the desktop wallet for Steem. I've been literally craving for something like that ever since I joined Steemit, last year. Do check it out and contribute to its development by providing feedback. It's already an impressive piece of work, clean and stable.

3. Steem To Be Included In The Jaxx Wallet - By @charlieshrem

Another wallet-related news comes from another Steem veteran, @charlieshrem, who announced that Jaxx, one of the most popular wallets out there (if not the most popular), will include support for Steem. Here's the article. The adoption of Steem in such a popular wallet will certainly boost its exposure.

(And, since we're talking about new projects, I also launched a little toy this week, called steem.supply, currently in alpha. I don't think it's big enough to be included in top 3 news, but it's important for me).
