On Tuesday, February 7, an initiative was presented to tax remittances 2%, with the aim that the money raised will serve to build a wall between the US-Mexican border.
With this situation, Mexicans in the United States could use crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin and Altcoins to ensure that resources reach their goal without being charged with some kind of tax.

Bitcoin technology is the best choice

Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto-currency. In addition, Bitcoin is the safest form of money that exists today.
Mexicans are already using this alternative with solutions like saldo.mx among others. With respect to this context the director of Bitso says:

"When it was the elections of USA we had two screens, in one we saw the results of the election and in another the transactions with Bitcoin, which increased as soon as Trump won a state, "he explained.
"It's an option that everyone should be using already for instant payments. It's not necessary for users to fully understand what bitcoin is or what the blockchain is."

Today

On March 29th of this year, the 6th edition of the Bitcoin Meetup was held in Mexico City where this topic was touched in a more depth way.

Some interesting facts were, for example, that approximately 26 billion dollars goes in remittances from California, Texa and Ilinios to the southwest of Mexico.
Currently the debate in Mexico on behalf of Jaime González Aguadé, president of the National Banking and Securities Commission, focuses on the Financial Technology Law, bitcoin could begin to be officially exchanged in some areas, being recognized by Banxico.
The Mexican Financial Technology Law project basically states people crowdfunding campaigns, this campaigns are obliged to declare their credit risk, that is, to demonstrate their creditworthiness through evaluations ... but only that.

The bureaucracy is redundant, and Trump will have to look for other channels

It is redundant to seek regulations because no approval or signature by "authority" in this technology is necessary. You can get the benefits of this technology with just a few clics. Share this information, it's as easy as buying bitcoin at localbitcoins in the United States and then sending it to a bitcoin account where they can sell the bitcoin and withdraw it to a debit card for Mexican pesos.

See you soon fellows!

People in the SouthWest of Mexico are slow to catch up to bitcoin. We have gold and silver too deeply engraved in our DNA, so a digital asset is going to take some getting used to. As for the government, all they want to know is how to TAX CRYPTO TO DEATH!
