Kurdish YPG assassinate first Turkish-backed commander outside of Afrin (video)
BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:40 A.M.) - The Kurdish-led People's Protection Units (YPG) carried out a new assassination this week, targeting a Turkish-backed commander in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
According to the Wrath of Olives media page, a Free Syrian Army (FSA) commander named "Abu Mohammad Al-Domani" was ambushed by the YPG fighters and killed near the town of Al-Rai in eastern Aleppo.
The Wrath of Olives page said that Abu Mohammad Al-Domani was a field commander from the Free Syrian Army's Sultan Murad Brigade.
This part of the Aleppo Governorate has been under the control of the Turkish-backed rebels since they expelled the Islamic State (ISIS) terror organization from the Turkish-Aleppo border.
As shown in the video below, the assassination was carried out at night and the Sultan Murad commander was killed during the attack:
