Bernie Sanders - Socialist - Campaing in $450,000 Debt: Kicker - He Won't Pay

The avid Fidel Castro loving socialist Bernie Sanders has an outstanding campaign debt of $450,000. It isn't surprising. Why? Well, he's a socialist. So many promises and so little actually accomplished. Socialists offer the world to their constituents, then under deliver. Not just under deliver, actually end up harming the very people they claim to help.

Take the toll social experimentation has had on African American communities. During the 1960's the Johnson administration started the "Great Society" experiment, where the government would socialize the lives of the poor. Well from the 1960's African americans had the least illegitimacy rates and were actually growing economically, now today it is the opposite. I will blame the social programs that led to fathers leaving their families because well, the government would feed them anyways. It was basically socialism that led to the social upheaval of these beautiful families. Who needs daddy when the government can fill his shoes? Very sad.

Bernie was the strongest voice calling for a Cuban style health care system, single payer. Guess what, it will under deliver just like it did in Cuba, Russia, China, Obamacare, Romania, England, Japan, and on and on. The cost, the expense to deliver universal "care" is unfathomable. Look at crazy cali, they couldn't even pass single payer at a state level, and they had the votes. The cost was more than the entire state budget. It is insanity.

Are surprised that Bernie won't even pay his own bills? No, he's a socialist.

I wonder what examples socialists have to show where socialism has succeeded in accomplishing workers paradise?
Great post, thanks!

I'd be glad to see it. But even still, if it works 1 out of 100 times and free market capitalism works 50 out of 100, it is a no brainer. I think it can work in small scale productions, not this federal level national socialization. It has to be kept in check, but that is the real problem, the ease of corruption and theft of funds through contracts to selective "friends" at favorable rates.

Here is their answer to that. It hasn't been tried correctly or it hasn't been done right. They always give themselves a weasel clause to explain why it's never worked. The Soviet Union didn't do it quite right. When Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela collapse....well they just didn't do it very well. Should have done this or that and it would have worked.

Exactly. The way it has been done fails. Always. But they still promote the same ol BS. They're insane, looking to win the lottery instead of working.

And the lottery is someone else's hard work. It's basically a system for the lazy who want to feed off the people doing work so they don't have to.

and yet socialism has been proven to be better 100 out of 100 times.

In the USSR actually.

socialism is where the workers control the means of production.

Under capitalism profit only comes from the exploited labor of the workers. As the rate of profit falls, workers will be paid less or the system will collapse for lack of profit. Eventually this goes on and the buying power of the workers approaches zero, meaning the problem with captialism is that you eventually run out of other people's labor.

freedom doesn't exist under capitalism.

Well, all I know is that 300 years ago 9x % of the population worked all day and night, for a king or something, and the average lifespan was much shorter compared to what it is today. Most of these people also spent their whole life in a village never seeing the closest big city.

Today, the average joe works 8 hour a day, has plenty of free time and makes enough money to fly the world, even if it is with a shitty airline like ryanair. And his lifespan has more than doubled.

The above examples may sound overly simplistic, but practically prove how your argument that "Eventually this goes on and the buying power of the workers approaches zero" is simply wrong. Sure, there are some set backs here and there. But capitalism has literally taken us to the moon. Not socialism :)

here is a nice video

the only way to avoid this tendancy for the rate of profit to fall is imperalism and super-profits made off of that. We are the most imperalist country in history and as you can see we get massive superprofits from oil and such.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tendency_of_the_rate_of_profit_to_fall

This is explains it in terms that can not be just ignored

it was the rise in technology, not the economic system. 20 million die of poverty a year and yet we can feed them. Less starve because we can produce more food, but those 20 million still die because of the system

actually the majority of our resources are made by third world countries. The amount of profit per unit labor in resources has increased, but as a percentage of resources gained from labor vs produced by the labor has decreased drastically

he's a social democrat, he is no socialist.

so he is not a true socialist ? :)

are you stupid? Socialism is where the workers control the means of production. He is a retard who thinks welfare capitalism is socialism

You try to attack socialism but can't even define it. Typical

First, chill :) Second, it was a joke referencing how everytime socialism fails you hear a leftie saying "but that wasn't true socialism".

I would love to hear an example of successful socialist country :)

I'm still waiting to hear about a capitalist system that hasn't slaughtered hundreds of millions

Now tell me about all that "failure", want to learn more about how a democratic nation actually functions?

Remember, the capitalists had the benefit of being decades later with that massive increase in technology

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_Union_referendum,_1991

how about the fact that 80% of the members of the ussr voted to keep it socialist, but the opportunist they stupidly relied on destroyed all hope?

With this video I finish proving the most important points: Less death, more resources, popular support, and freedom.

40% of people approve trump, stalin just hit the highest in years at 83%.

How do you feel about that propaganda your school taught you now?

i) Yeah fewer deaths. Go say that to a polish guy ;) The attrocities of the USSR are too many to count

ii) Are these the same numbers that were saying how Trump would never win the elections?

iii) Approval means jack shit. Hitler won the elections, remember?

'ii) Are these the same numbers that were saying how Trump would never win the elections?"

no they are the numbers that prove a two party system is not anything close to a democracy

the polish lands taken were originally russian and were needed to defend against the nazis,

let me guess, you think iraq is justified

"iii) Approval means jack shit. Hitler won the elections, remember?

"

at least do research

"There are indicators that Hitler’s popularity peaked in 1939 at somewhere close to 80, or 90% just before the war and fell well below 50% as the war progressed."

Yeah 83% when you don't have a choice and if you mock the demi-god ruler that controls the elections you get to go to the gulag. Give me a break. The guy that murders 40 million people isn't popular, what kind of propaganda have you been inundated with. If you piled up all the bodies of Russian communism, you would reach the moon.

killed 40 million?

tell me, where on this graph does it crash by 20%? Hint: it doesn't

#1 they went against the will of the majority of votes so that's delusional

#2 it was far more democratic than the United states and that 'all-powerful dictatorship" is just propaganda

Joseph Stalin - Here he goes with voter fraud. - "It's not the people who vote that count. It's the people who count the votes."

the failure was that they allowed themselves to listen to the ramblings of a non-socialist and followed orders like sheep, which leads to capitalism. That is the complete opposite of what socialists want.

you keep making all these threads, I really can't follow you. I would love to have this discussion somewhere else, here it's just impossible for me :)

How about we think about it in another way. Collectivization of society leads to financial failure and social disparity. So that would cover all definitions of every attempt of socialism, there has never been a socialist model that outperforms capitalism, none.

hmmm it seems like facts prove you wrong

So a 50% collapse of GDP in one year (1990) when It collapsed isn't proof. Then after opening up to semi-free markets you see a dramatic increase topping previous highs. It proves me right! Thanks.

the country collapsed before it turned communist,

The increase is do to a higher level of technology lmao

Nope, communism officially failed in Russia in 1990. Increase of tech and moneybis from opening markets back up. Thats why the U.S. was always leading the world in technology. It doesn't take massive oppression and slaughter to do well. There's no reason for communism. Just so painful to see people beg for servitude to an oligarchist elite. It's really weird. We all can research economics and you've even admitted communists will commit mass atrocities on the "proliteriate" to make sure the workers have zero political power against the polit-bureau. There's too many holes and contradictions in the "for" arguments.

Haha, you hit a soft spot... They will never ever admit failure. It is hilarious and sad. Look at this crap. I've argued with this guy over and over again. Every socialist model isn't the "true" model that they envisioned.

Well we took this on a chat but I found we will found any common ground 😂

Name me a capitalist system that "ran out of people's labor". I can name plenty of socialist/communist systems that ran out of people's money. The guy is an idiot.
