While Clooney hasn't really commented on it so far (as far as I can tell), he certainly hasn't told his neighbors off either.
I think George is realising that we are in a muddle - he was going to do a White Helmets film ... then he found a few messages explaining the truth ... he pulled out. What surprises me is that Putin hasn't offered to build a tunnel - now that would make the world laugh. There are already hundreds!
