Achievement 4 by @hdnakum Task : Applying Markdowns
Hello Steemitians!!
How are you all?
I hope everyone is fit and fabulous.
I know, despite completing up to three achievements back to back within three days of knowing about it from @brahmaputra, I could not post the remaining three achievement due to the high workload. Today I will try my best to justify achievement. As a keen user of steemit, i have been in contact with various method of markdown. Many users have written nice blogs about applying markdowns but somewhere they miss some important points.
I will try to cover almost every tip to markdown your blog and these tips will be helpful to make your blog looks amazing at first glance.
1) BASIC UNDERSANDING OF POSTING THE BLOG
In the steemit, there are two panels to get used to. one is the input panel and another is the preview panel. In the input panel, you write and/or code or edit your blog, sort of raw text. The preview panel gives you an idea how your blog will look like to people once you hit the "POST" button.
- Input panel is where you write and edit your raw text.
- Preview panel shows how your blog will look like to others.
2) SIZE OF THE TEXT
During writing the blog, we need a different kind of font size for different uses. Sometimes we want to highlight the title, in such case "#" is used to set the size of the font. "#" increases, the headline size decreases.
3) TEXT STYLE
Style of the text is most important in highlighting the text by doing it Bold, Italic or Bold and italic at the same time. Entering the ** or *** or * at both the end of the text leads to Bold, Bold and italic, and only Italic, respectively. Moreover, -- or == underneath of any text gives you headline 2.
4) SUBSCRIPT AND/OR SUPERSCRIPT THE TEXT
While writing the scientific blog, one need to superscript or subscript the text. Seemit support superscript and subscript easily. To subscript any text, Add to left end of the text and at the right end. To superscript any text, Add to left end of text and at the right end of the text.
5) COLOURING RED TO THE TEXT
So far, the Steemit doesn't support the coloured text. but I have found it from somewhere that text can be red by using the specific code as shown below.
6) LISTING THE TEXT
By using the specific code, One can list orderly or unorderly by adding bullet point before the list. Text Can be orderly arranged by using the "number" before a specific list. In the Unorder list, You can add a circular bullet point prior to text by putting * Or - before the text after one space.
7) ALIGNMENT OF THE TEXT
By using the specific code, One can align the text at the centre or right or at the left side. See below, the code for performing the specific operation
8) ADD LINK OR CITE REFERENCE
In the steemit, when you use someone else image or text, you need to give them credit by citing them as a reference as explained by the below method.
9) QUOTING TEXT
In the steemit, when you copy-paste the text or famous saying of someone, you need to present it as a quote. By simply putting ">" and "space" prior to text will be automatically shown as a quote.

10) JUSTIFYING TEXT
As a writer, everyone needs to justify their blog text to make it more elegant. Justification can be done by simply Putting < div class="text-justify " >Copy paste Your paragraph < /div>. Remove the space to execute the code.
11) HORIZONTAL RULAR
If you put three hyphens, asteriscs, or underscores a light horizontal rule will be created at the place of hyphens, asteriscs, or underscores.
***or-- or ___
12) SPLIT THE TEXT IN TWO CELLS
Sometimes the author does write blogs in two languages. In such a case, the author prefers to write both the language in a parallel manner by splitting the text into two cells. See how it is done.
13) CREATE TABLE
Sometimes blogger needs to create a table to show some analytical data in the table. Use the below method to create a table of any number of column and raw.
14) ALIGNMENT OF THE IMAGE
As discussed above in the alignment of text, the same procedure is followed while aligning the image either on left, right or in the centre.
15) ADDING VIDEOS
As an author, we often need to insert videos or gifs in our posts to make it more attractive or eye-catching.
Just copy the Url of YouTube videos and put it here, it will instantly be embedded.
