Does constant posting make you grow faster? (Newbie Tips Part 2)
To make it in steemit,
“You just have to be posting and you will be earning”
“You have to be consistence, try to be posting at least one post a day”
You see those two sentences are the biggest lies I’ve ever come across on steemit. The first sentence is a common lie that convinced most of us to join steemit,
We all came to get rich quick, well its crystal clear even to a blindman on steemit that it is a big lie.
So, I will focus on the second sentence, do you really need to post everyday to make it on steemit?
Hell No, as a matter of fact most of the successful people I know here on steemit hardly make a post (except those that always host weekly contest or blog news). Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t say that they hardly log in. They are always online, but not always writing a post. They maybe be online for day, just replying and resteeming quality posts.
The difference between you that make post everyday and them is that they hardly strike but whenever they do, they leave a great mark.

They take time to observe, make a lot of research, gather information and ideas before making a single post. They don’t just come around (like you always do) to drop a meme, write two sentences, then sit back and expect 1k upvotes and resteems.
Cool down to gather your contents and put them in order before making a post. One relevant post can fetch you a lot of followers and upvotes than thousands of irrelevant posts.
If you observe the profile of people with high steem power, you will notice that amount of “Following” is always way lesser than the “Followers”. The very little ones they are following are mainly people with higher steempower and others are people that are productive, people that pass sensible information across with their posts. You can’t be posting rubbish or half cooked stuffs everyday and expect a whale to find your blog attractive then follow you and upvote them.
Although I post almost everyday, that because I’m an artist and I have many artwork in my pc before I joined steemit. So, if you a writer and you have many write ups or you blog news, you good to go. If you can write something sensible everyday, good and fine. In summary, stop posting rubbish all in the name of being consistence or in quest of getting more followers coz you will even loose the little you have.

Always try to connect with different people but while connecting be very careful the kind of people you connect with. There are three different kinds of community I’ve seen on discord. The good ones that helps their members grow, the useless ones without mission and vision that can help them grow and the fraudster ones that steal their members' upvote.

Make enquirers well before joining a curation trail. Some of the trails out there help the leaders more than the members. The leader always make posts everyday then use the curation trail to upvote himself first when the vote power of the trail is still at the peak before voting some of the members. In summary, I will encourage everybody to use steemworld.org/username to make some enquirers before joining a trail.
If you would ask me to recommend you a good curation trail for minniows to join, that will be Newbieresteemday.

As you can see, there is no special set of people that always get upvoted and resteemed.

As you can see, I also got upvoted and resteemed along the line... The blessing keeps going around to posts with good content. Don't forget to FOLLOW @newbieresteemday and TAG them.
Finally, always be observant and know when to change strategy. From the few days I've spent here, I noticed that people dont like reading topics like religion, politics and newbie tips(Yeah, you read it right)... So this will be the last Tips I will be posting, Gotta try something new and see how it goes...
Enjoy steemit, Stop working hard and start working smart.
There is a lot of truth in your post!
I do post a lot but not every day andonly if I do think that the post has an added valu or gives a little away from my personal life!
Follow-you-follow-me requests are most of the times ignored by me. I do only follow people from whom I do want to read what they are writing.
I don’t care if they follow me or not. Care is a big word. I don’t require or expect it!
I do mostly read and place genuine comments here!
But I disagree about the whales thing. Lots of them don’t comment or post, they just upvote and ran away with the curation rewards. Not all of them but a lot! My 2 cents!
you are kinda correct... Coz i hardly see a whale promoting a newbie... No matter how good the content is. They kinda prefer to upvote and resteem people that get many upvotes. I also talked about the follow for follow nd Upvote for Upvote... Newbies always mistake here for facebook or Instagram. lolzzz... You made a lot of sense and am for that, I'm following you. I dont expect you to follow me back.
Hello! I find your post valuable for the art community! Thanks for the great post! ARTzone is now following you! ALWAYs follow @artzone and the artzone tag, and support our artists!
You know what else steemit doesn't like? Music. I have tried making multiple "what are you listening to " posts with good content from me and NOBODY even looks at them. I love music though so i sm going to keep jamming it in their faces till they like it.
Lol... So true... This reply is encouraging... But no matter how much music post you jam at their face, it doesn't take up to a second to skip a post. I think making connections with someone who love music too then try to set up a platform to promote upcoming music artist will help... Maybe hosting a music contest.
haha... I like that attitude @doomsdaychassis! And just remember that we are so new that "steemit" doesn't even know what steemit likes. Don't worry though, we are working to build the infrastructure to support all kinds of ideas and good content!
I will just lure them in with a click bait title next time lol.
haha... yes.. I find a pretty girl always helps ;)
I like this @sparrowbernard... and don't give up so easily on newbie tips... I think we are so new that many here haven't found it yet... You do have 34 upvotes on the post, so that is good... And groups like @helpie with their leader @meno are always looking to strengthen the ways in which people help each other. I will try to get @meno's attention and see if he can reach out to you and give you some parameters of what they are looking for!
I liked this post though, it was honest and helpful!
I believe am at this level in steemit is because of people like you. The generous help you have always rendered. Since you have been here for a long time. If you tell me to keep pushing, that am on the right track. I will be stupid to do otherwise... Maybe there is something you see that i dont see yet. Once again, thank alot
I think you are really smart and learning fast. That is a wise observation in your last sentence. I think that attitude will server you well! And you are welcome, but I am happy to help you in any way I can!
religion and political issues tend to be the most trivial, it is because of them that many prefer not to go deeper, the advice to have a successful path are useful for us little fish that look for good answers to so many questions that arise... thank you for sharing, we must devote time and love to our blog
Yep, topics like religion, politics and sex are just too sensitive to talk about. It is better to avoid them if you dont have what it takes
you are absolutely right.
i agree with you.
well written.
I can see you are still new... I think you should read the part1, scroll down my blog a bit... welcome to steemit man
Yes, i am new here.
I need support and some good friend..
I hope you will be the one..
Thanks...

you need to help yourself first... give steemit something so original and almost useful to everybody.
Congratulations you have been upvoted and resteemed as part of #newbieresteemday's top 10 posts for the day! ...

Nice Post
I am very skeptical towards "curation-trails" and other upvote for upvote schemes, and these newbie-help-groups on discord seam to help the people on top of those groups more then all us "bottom-feeders" desperately pretending not to beg for whale-votes...
Besides trying our hardest to write good & entertaining posts,
I think using "@grumpycat compliant" upvoting bots (use https://steembottracker.com to see what bots are profitable) and just reply comments and follow, upvote and comment good content from users (that might become good friends) is the way to go...
Resteem services can work, but it is a bit of a gamble, I noticed that smaller resteem services work better then the larger ones...
But I am still new here so what do I know...
Thanks man... I wont really advice a fellow minnow that is struggling to survive to start paying for upvotes... But i believe we are all here to learn. Nobody knows it all... I will give it a try and see how it goes.
Struggling to survive? (Not telling these poor fellows about bidding-bots thats just cruel man)...
I wrote about minnowsupport on my previous post. Like i said, I haven't tried it yet and wont recommend it to anybody till i try it. The last time i paid for upvote, it didn't worth it. Thanks for the info bro
I see, to do it in a good way use the top-list on https://steembottracker.com , this way you minimize your chances of loosing money. The good thing is that if you can boost a post a bit, (not sure how much but I think with something like 3 SBD ) you can end up in the "hot section" and get a lot more exposure for your post! (but I guess you need a little bit of a "click bait title" to and a good image also, and luck)...
I just checked it out and am kinda confused... Which of the bot do you normally use? recommend one for me. If you are on discord, pls reply with your discord username
I don't use discord at this time, got sick of it... I ended up just chatting and listening to people making politically incorrect jokes all day long, (believe it or not I also have a life and I rather focus my free time writing on Steemit).
Just go to: https://steembottracker.com , and you should see a "top list" there of bots?!
You can adjust the vote value slider, that should give you more bots to choose from, then choose a high ranking bot (that you can afford) lets say you choose "@pushup".
Then you go to your wallet and transfer 1.70 SBD's or something to @pushup , (leave your post-url in the memo), wait an hour or something and if "@pushup" is at 100% voting power and amongst the top bots on https://steembottracker.com .
You should get a nice vote maybe worth like 3 SBD's or more!
Good Luck!
Please keep updated me on your progress!
Just remember that it is hard to find a bot that gives a good ROI (return of investment), so use https://steembottracker.com, read more about bots and experiment, you can also check the bots voting power on http://www.steemd.com/@pushup etc )
thanks man... I will keep you updated... I use this my friend @thundercurator. He is really good
Hey bud... reach out to me on discord, lets chat! :)
It a pleasure to have you here man... I've have been trying to, But i dont know your discord username... Pls reply with a way i can reach to you
Advice that anyone can use, also just have fun, especially now when steem price is low, and things don't need to be so serious.
Yep... always have fun... I believe it is the quickest way to make it on steemit... Nobody has ever gone far without the help of a friend
