Website Menu Design Contest. SBD Prize

Well guys, it's been over two weeks since The Steemit Newbie Resteem Initiative has started it has taken off flying. While @davemccoy has remained non stop in the recruitment and PR department I have been beavering away with what time I have building a website. I'm at a stage where finishing this task is drawing near to completion and should be launching soon. I started the Steemit Newbie Resteem Initiative to give back to the community and help out new arrivals on Steemit. As it's a community based effort I'm launching a contest for designs for me to incorporate into our website. The main thing is menu items, so for instance our menu so far reads: About Us, What Is Steemit, Tips to Get You Started, How To Secure Your Account Step By Step, How To Turn Your Steem And Steem Dollars Into Cash.
Right now I'd love for the website to reflect our efforts in creating an environment of support for new arrivals and I'd love for the community to take part in its design. So for this contest I'm asking for all of those artistic folks on Steemit to bring their best and design a background image that I can use when you click the About Us icon on our menu. The reward will be the SBD paid out from this post. Simply leave a link to your entry or your entry in the comments below. There will be other contest in the offing centered around other themes and @davemccoy has a few on the go himself Best of luck guys and as always Steem on.

this sounds like something I'd love to be involved in but I'm having my wisdom teeth out tomorrow morning and I'm gonna be out of commission for a few days. I wish I had the time to get started tonight ! I've resteemed to hopefully get some more artistic eyes on your post!
Is there a deadline? and also what type of dimensions are we talking about? a full background or a banner width kind of image?
Ideally I'd like it to be a usable size to act as a banner on the slide out menu on the site. So when you click About Us there's the image behind the words. So a banner of sorts would be the best design model to keep in mind. The background of the website is dark so whatever you like best as far as color schemes go. The deadline is when the post pays out and hopefully it's a large prize pool so the winner banks a decent amount. Wisdom teeth out? Yikes. You certainly have my sympathy there. Best of luck and don't sweat the contribution to the contest. You have bags of time. :)
cool! I'll keep that in mind and if I'm feeling good I'll put together an entry for the contest! if not perhaps I can donate a bit of SBD to the pool for the winner?
