My Journey in Review
My newest friends on Steemit May not have seen my early posts as it would take a long time to sift through my blog in the hope of finding something interesting.
So to all my Steemit friends, here is a review of my Steemit journey so far
The Steampunk Kaleidoscope
The Steampunk Zeppelin
The Victorian Precinct where most of the Steampunk Sculptures are located
Steampunk Man
My Hourglass Stone Sculpture(light shines out the top and the bottom when it’s sitting on its stand)
My Flower Sculpture(the base is from an old brass coat stand)I like to mix different mediums
Cup & Saucer Lamp Sculpture(This was one of my first sculptures so isn’t the best)
Turkish Building Sculpture
Piko Piko Sculptures(my mum asked me to make these for her)
Pyramid of Giza Sculpture(I made this for an experiment on Pyramid power-and it worked! Check out the post I did about this to find out why there’s a gap in it)
The Steampunk Beast
The Steampunk Guardian
Dinosaur Sculpture(not really Steampunk but great sculpture anyway)
Another Dinosaur Sculpture
For the sake of clarity I just want to point out that I had no hand in making any of the Steampunk sculptures. I only made the stone carvings.
And to put a face to the name, here is a picture of me
I hope you have enjoyed my review
I really like all the Steampunk sculptures and you are a very talented artist yourself! very cool post :)
Thank you very much for your nice words @amariespeaks
this is absolutely freaking amazing! I want to stick my face in the kaleido machine lol. All these sculptures are beautiful. I would love to travel there and see it all. Thank you for sharing!
It is a great place to visit and the town has many artists living here. Many of them come for a visit but never leave. I moved here in 2011 and would never live anywhere else in New Zealand again as it’s such a friendly, creative town and because of the small population(about 13500 people) there is also very little crime. If you ever get the opportunity then I would definitely recommend coming here for a holiday. I’m sure if you travelled the entire length of New Zealand you would agree that it is the most interesting place of all. Thanks for your comment.
I would love to visit, hopefully in another 10 years lol. I live quite far from there and having 3 kids is an expensive life. Enjoy your evening :)
It is an expensive life. If you do make it here in 10 years then I can imagine it will be even better. We may even have a nightclub by then. Or maybe even a pub that is open after 11 at night
Imagine that eh. That would be awesome ^_^
