To be honest, I didn't except some world wide event. All the "End of the world" stuff was just from the media. Most people see it as a sign of things to come, like the 7 years of tribulation. A way point, if you will.
I don't expect Armageddon to happen like a thief in the night, I expect it to be a slow build up that is noticed by everyone.
