WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT NET NEUTRALITY?

I am always baffled with this fight against net neutrality and
it is obvious how the power grab works around here.
Some other countries the government just block the internet altogether.
Information flies so fast, they can it is a detriment to their stability.
In the US all mobile companies offer unlimited data services with different prices.
When you read the small lines it is about how fast you get that unlimited.
Without net neutrality they decided how to sell their service.
We are living in a time of consumerism.
They did a survey about the most important job of an Attorney General.
The most important factor on everybody mind is protection of privacy for the consumer.
Second fight violence.

We steemians, need the internet for our everyday use.
Hopefully we can come to an understanding where the benefits go both ways.
Two years ago we have laws set in place for net neutrality.
New chief in town, laws have been reversed living the net free and clear.
Since then big telcos do what they want and charge what they want to get more out of it.
I am wondering with 5G approaching how much one will pay for internet services.
I recalled when you were controlled to how minuted you can talk per month.
Somehow you are controlled to how many data you can used per month even you are still using the unlimited plan.
Monopoly is the curse of this problem.
Lack of competition makes it worse.
Where I live I see three providers.
It could be the same all over the US just different names.
One of them is satellite service where you can use it just 12 GB for priority data.
After you are getting slow service.
The one I am using, requested that you sign an agreement for a year or two.
The best service goes all the way to 2000 Mbps asymetrical for $300 monthly.
I think I have where I am 250 mbps down and 25 mbps up.
Not bad! For the price tag it could be better and more reliable.
I will give it 90% online.
I have to request the new modem in order to get the top speed desired.
The other one is a dsl service with some fiber optic available in some neighborhood.
One thing I see with net neutrality out of the picture, they charge more if you want better service and it seems they have the favor of the governemnt to do what they want.
Here we come the idea of whale system.
Big companies do not like regulations.
If it has to do with us, they want regulations.
Net neutrality may come back and we the consumers may get a better service, competition and why not a better price for the bucks.
