NEO Cryptocurrency Suffers as China Bans ICOs
From "Ethereum of China" to Uncertain Future
Cryptocurrency news website The Merkle characterized NEO as the "Ethereum of China." The altcoin has surged in price over the course of the year, climbing to about $50 per coin. However, in recent days the price has plummeted to $20 or so per coin. While some suggest that this was not too much of a surprise--the altcoin saw a significant value appreciation recently, which would inevitably lead to a correction at some point in the future--there may be other factors at play as well.
