New Info From NEO on what's coming in August
On July 25th Antshares (ANS) re-branded as NEO, with a logo of "NEO smart economy". The changes coming with re-branding are ongoing, here are some of the highlights.
The Neo team says the new website design is now finalized and will go live August 8th.
Also on August 8th the NEO 2.0 will launch, it is in the process of upgrading all non-consensus nodes.
Here's the info on wallets: "when consensus nodes are updated, users will be prompted to update when starting the old Antshares 1.x client" Users can copy the "chain" folder into new NEO2.0 client folder to speed syncing.
If users have NEO/ANS, NEO/GAS/ANC on an exchange, no action is required duing the switch over.
I've tried three times to download the antshares wallet with no luck so I'm just going to wait and download the new wallet after the 8th

"After the rebranding to Neo, we're taking the oppotunity to update block-chain network and it will be another busy 2 weeks and we thank you for your patience and understanding of our tech focus these coming days".

Best thing is wait on update. I am not hearing any major problems with NEO.

and just copied the .db3 into it from my existing Antshare wallet, all went smoothly.
Thanks for the info, I've been trying to stay informed on Antshares/NEO as I think it has a great future ahead of it.
Is NEO done or still being worked on? I've got a lot of catching up to do. ;)
