How to make a Single Crochet stitch

Hello community of steemit, hope you're having a happy day! Today will be a tutorial day for those who would like to learn how to crochet. I will start with the basics and every week I will bring you another tutorial so that little by little you will start to knit and create all those cute little things that you have always wanted to make, in the end I leave the video.

Today you will need wool of any color and a knitting needle. Also for those who don't know how to make a simple crochet I recommend you go through my previous post where you will learn how to make a chain and it will be useful for this tutorial.

Post

Single crochet stitch

  • We start by making a simple chain of 12 points, once the chain is ready we insert the needle in the chain number 11.

  • We take thread with the needle and extract thread, now we will have two rings inside the needle.

  • We make the thread pass over the needle and through the two rings, closing them; there will be only one point

  • Insert again the needle on the left side of the chain, that would be the chain No. 10, we return to extract thread, having two rings, we take thread again and extract leaving only one ring. Now we have two points that would be single crochet stitch we will repeat this procedure until all the points in the chain are completed.

Hello @carovargasv and Welcome to #NeedleWorkMonday!! You have found the place where us crafters get together to share our work, ideas, tips, techniques, patterns and to inspire one another. Don’t feel you have to wait until a project is complete to share it with us. We love seeing projects come to life so feel free to post pictures as you work on them.

Thank you for sharing your tutorial with us this week. I myself am preparing to start a beginning tutorial series for crocheting. It’s good to see more and more coming forth on this plattform to share their passion with others. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts :)
