NeedleWorkMonday: Women Empowerment New Wall Mat

Dear steemains,

Happy #needleworkmonday . I would like to share a new wall mat we made for @womenempowerment recent orders from @jessicakluthe and @r2cornell. It was made by one of our trainee Ashnara. She has two children and her husband is the only earner of the family and work as a day labourer. We are helping her by offering orders from steemians.

Her children study at @SchoolForSDG4 for last two years and she is working as part-time with @WomenEmpowerment.

Our @WomenEmpowerment trainer is giving her a sample of work shafali did last year. Ashnara took the sample wall mat with her in her slum so she can follow the wall mat to make similar wall mat. Of course, we can't be perfect with all the job but we will try our best to satisfy our customer.

I personally loved the design. BTW, I didn't know how these handicraft is made before starting the project of @WomenEmpowerment. I learnt many things and I can feel that how much emotion involved with this wall mat while she was sewing.
