This is a great post! I love seeing what tools people use and which ones they like the best. Did you make those little snowflake markers? They are sweet.
I love geocaching too....though I haven't done much of it for awhile. The design on your needle case and coins is pretty cool. Reminds me of trail map. Did you design it?
You're first knit project turned out very well! I love it. Do you use it regularly? (yes..I'm nosy)

I found the Snowflake and star micro crocheted stitch markers somewhere in Oregon, I believe at a yarn store.
I did design the pattern for the scissor case and coins. It was based on an x marks the spot idea, it was also supposed to be kind of a compass rose. It didn't turn out quite like I expected but worked well.
The purse is not regularly used because it has a small hole in the bottom from being used too much. :) I'll fix it at some point when I find a similar yarn. I used to use it a lot when I was running out of the house and just needed something to hold a book.
