Needlework Monday - Leafy Baby Blanket
I am so happy to find the tag #needleworkmonday and decided to write my first post with the tag before I go to bed 😄

Last year this time I was expecting our baby and knitting a blanket for her.
去年のこの時期は赤ちゃんを待ちつつ生まれたら使おうとブランケットを編んでいました。
I wished she get along with nature so I chose organic yarn died with plants and started knitting blanket with leaf pattern. The pattern is available on Raverly.
自然と親しんで育つといいなと思って植物で染めたオーガニックの毛糸で葉っぱの模様のブランケットを編みました。図案は編み物ファンのSNS Raverlyより。

It's time to start using it again once we are back in Germany. It will be on her lap when she sits on her baby buggy. She is not laying all the time any more. Time pasts so quick :)
ドイツに戻ったらそろそろ出して使う時期かな。昨シーズンはもっぱらおくるみというか毛布のように寝ている上にかけて使っていましたが、今シーズンはベビーカーでひざかけのように使うと思うと、確実に時間が経って赤ちゃんが成長しているのを実感します。

It's pretty! I really like the leaf pattern. I want to learn how to knit. Do you think this pattern would be too difficult for a beginner?
Thank you anise. It can be challenging but the pattern is repetitive and doesn't have tricky stitches so after you get used to some basic stitches and get to know the pattern it won't be difficult any more :) Good chance to start knitting, it's the beginning of the knitting/crocheting season!
Yes it is that time of year! I have been crocheting for a long time but I think it's time for a new challenge.

I love the leaf pattern! It looks so soft and cozy! I love the way knitted stitches look. My passion has been to crochet but after I master sewing I plan on taking up knitting as well. I want to learn as many crafts as possible. Thank you so much for sharing with us!
Seems there are more crocheters here on Steemit. I like crocheting too. And it's nice "needlework" is broaden enough to involve sewing etc. I'm happy to write about my sewing projects in the future.

Yes there seems to be more crocheters than any other craft. I wanted this to be open to all types of needlework. I’m just so glad people are starting to find us especially since I haven’t searched for more crafters lately. Normally I find them and invite them on but I haven’t had the extra time lately.
