Life at @ecodesigns | Watch how we are empowering young girls in textile recycling and fashion designing
Today, we bring you a short video of life at @ecodesigns for you to see some of our trainees and take a brief tour around our hub.
It’s our wish to draw you closer to our textile recycling and fashion designing initiative that is training women and girls for free in textile recycling and fashion designing.

We can do more but we lack materials and machines to increase our textile recycling and women empowerment project. We have 13 trainees and 02 Training Directors but have just 06 machines which are not enough for the 13 young girls who are striving to get empowered as well as clean-up the world. It is for this reason that @ecodesigns is striving to raise funds to purchase 7 machines so that we can double our productivity and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our textile recycling and fashion designing training.

Green greetings @delishtreats and we are very inspired right now. Hoping that the price of steem will rise to its normal 0.8$ per Steem or more, the 500 Steem will be used to purchase 3 sewing machines which will be used to effectively train 03 girls on a full time basis. @ecodesigns major challenge is the lack of machines to train her 13 female trainees in textile recycling and fashion designing. With 03 more machines, we will be able to train more women and girls as well as be able to upcycle more textile waste, hence reduce textile pollution and fight climate change.

However, if the price of Steem remains thesame, we will still use the money to purchase at least a sewing machine. One new sewing machine can make a big difference!
With the 500 Steem we will purchase more machines to be able to train more women and girls in textile recycling and fashion designing, hence reduce femal youth unemployment and inequalities, reduce textile waste pollution and curb climate change and improve the health and wellbeing of people and the planet.
