Maybe in 2.5 years I guess, Durant IS 29... but right now, I don't see it at all. The Warriors don't need him. While KD is still KD and still there.
Trends do change? Things could go back to the old days where Big Men dominate and Anthony Davis would be incredible to have.
I'm definitely not saying AD isn't worth having he is the Shizz Nit. He was on my first NBA all star ballot. It just seems he is so similar to KD. Maybe at the end of AD current contract KD will be ready to play 6th man? :)
Things could go back, and I think special big men like AD fit in great now. But looking at the 2017 McDonald's team ... I think my fav is Duval, 6'3" and the popularity trend is definitely headed Trey Young's way. You scouting young bigs?
PS AD is a god.
