Moving to Wasaga Beach has improved our outdoors life. We live just next to the Wasaga Beach provincial park. There is a lot of wildlife.
This fall we were walking in the park and we saw this beautiful hairy woodpecker.
This is my entry for today's fauna contest.
Hi Bart. Thanks for your submission. The yellows and greens make a great backdrop for the woodpecker. How fun to see them when you are out on your walk at the park!

Yesterday i saw a huge beautiful other type of woodpecker. Impressive, but I was to late for a photo.
