This beautiful park known by all Venezuelans as Parque del Este (officially Parque Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda, in honor of a Venezuelan hero) is located in the city of Caracas very visited as it is a place with 82 hectares, with lots of vegetation and different areas to share.

It has an easy access, has a subway station (Miranda Station Line 1) that facilitates the arrival of visitors, most use the park to exercise and children for recreation ... I live in the City of Caracas, but I had years without visiting the place, yesterday I decided to go with a friend to chat for a while, the day dawned rainy, when we arrived at the place we realized that they were going to perform a therapy dance so we decided to participate hehehe we danced an hour!

On Sundays there are usually many people, they always organize events, after exercising we went to buy a tizana there was a food fair, also crafts and other exhibitions .

Then I told him to go to the xerophilous zone!

According to Wikipedia:

The term xerophilous, xerophytic or xeric (from the Greek xero-: dry, -fitos: plant, -filo: amigo) is applied in botany to vegetation and plant associations specifically equipped for life in a dry environment. That is, plants adapted to the scarcity of water in the area where they live, such as the steppe or the desert. They are found in climatically arid regions (deserts) and also in exceptionally dry environments of semi-arid or sub-humid regions.

It is a very beautiful and strange area because of the type of vegetation in that particular area, in addition there are some large trees and many stones of different sizes.

• Cocui Agave cocui
• Cocuiza blanca Agave angustifolia
• Cocuiza blue Agave sisalana

• Kalanchoe Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri
• Zabila Aloe vera
• Agave or Pita Agave americana

For lovers of botany and nature in general it is a pleasant place to visit, with friends, as a family whether to exercise, enjoy a walk or recreation, and is in the middle of the city ... Below are other photos of plants of the place.
