A WELCOME VISITOR
The other day we had a really big storm and when it calmed down we had a very special visitor. This very wet looking kangaroo emerged from the bush near our house and I thought what a special treat it was to have him or her grazing on our front lawn. At the same time I felt a sadness because of how unnatural the world has become for these beautiful native animals.

Such a cutie.
It reminds of me of when people from other countries ask us if we have kangaroos in our backyards. In a way you can say they sometime visit.
But yes it is sad to think how unnatural the world has become because we have taken away so much land and natural habitats. Then when they venture onto our roads; accidents can occur....
