A Cold Spring Day with Pretty Flowers
Happy Weekend!
Spring keeps coming and going in my part of North Texas!
It was back to a low of 43 degrees Fahrenheit this morning!
I photographed these three flowers today in my yard.
Pink Cornflower
White Poppy
Purple Cornflower
These wild flowers all started out as seeds last fall in my new flowerbed.
They were planted in organic raised bed soil.
I just continue to be amazed at how fantastic cameras
are on smart phones now!

Given the right amount of light smartphones can do what cameras can do. Those are stunning shots. I like the white poppy the most. The white petals protect the inside of the flower from harsh light. It serves as filter and reflector to make the inside give that subtle lighting.

I am not sure which flower photograph is my favorite. That purple is exquisite, the pollen in the poppy is gorgeous, and the cornflower is perfectly pink. 🐓🐓

Beautiful flowers. Especially poppy, I love them so much. But I can not grow from seeds. Probably have to buy seedlings. Thank you for the wonderful flowers.

43 degrees? Wow then it must be as hot as my country and especially Niger state where I stay but thank God for the rain of last night that made everywhere cold and comfortable
I'm sorry, I should have said Fahrenheit for the temperature above! I've added that above. You probably are used to seeing temperature given as Celsius! I'm glad you had some rain to cool you off!
