Killing or trafficking of an animal is really a shame and that to for its skin or scales....
There are other animals too which are butchered for their body parts, making rules and conservation won't protect them all...better educating the people can do it, who think that some part of animals body can cure their deadly disease.
Yeah, we really need to have a change in the culture if we want this problem to stop. Even with strict laws, someone will break them, so we need to find a better way to stop the demand.
