Maybe I focused a bit too much on Africa and China in my post, because as you say, they are also facing the same problems in other parts of Asia as well. I'm glad to hear that the local authorities in the Philippines have acted to create conservation plans for these animals, and hopefully the decline of the pangolins in the Philippines will stop.
