even though the time has been short to predict global warming (a mere 30-40 years - and yes, I know because I was in Bonn Germany studying this climate change in 1987), they indeed have accurately predicted changing weather pattern such as an increase in climactic weather patterns (hurricanes, floods, record heat) and melting of glaciers. No one tried to predict how many solar flares there are in the same time period because we just dont know enough about the sun, but my guess is that they would not have accurately guessed both increasing activity and some kind of correlation with weather. So now you need to ask yourself, what is the probability that scientist thirty years ago could predict climate change and get it right? Most people think global warming is seen on a day to day scale where the truth is it is seen in incremental levels over a long time period. Regardless of what you believe, shit is changing and ignoring it because we are too lazy to change our habits is foolish.
