30% tariff on SOLAR PANELS
Is it just me or is this just insane? This is going to really hurt the green energy problem in the US.
A 30 percent tariff will be imposed on solar panel components, with the rate declining over four years.

Jesus, why in a million years would this ever be considered!? It seems like self-dependence is getting more and more difficult. I just want to live away from the need of electric companies... I just want to be able to do whatever I want without someone peeking at how much power I'm using...wtf

The better question is why do generally nice law-abiding people tolerate this kind of gangsterism? They simply live complacently trusting the benevolent monopoly bosses. The tiny minority who recognise the larger picture, are then unprotected when the bullying monopoly capitalists with their legislators in tow, come to crush your knee caps. Behind them are the crowds ready to do the same because 'why on earth would you want to get energy from the sun?' and 'You're probably some commie using these solar panels to communicate state secrets via satelite, and the commander should do more to curb your activity'. Even Linux users are still is seen that way by a lot of people. So when you start putting things on your roof, they hand you a tin foil cap.
This is terrible. 30%tarriff! I see this as wickedness, since they won't be the one to be paying, may God help us all.. Together we can build a better world for everyone... Nice
