I like the straw necked Ibis more than the white ones. They have taken advantage of our human waste and modified environments to thrive in massive numbers here in SEQLD. They even beat out the seagulls chasing spare chips at the beach.

I remember one eyeing off my sandwich in Hyde Park, Sydney years ago :-) Ibis and gulls take the rap a bit for our own wastefulness and mess. They are simply cleaning up our rubbish :-)

I've seen the blighters steal sausages off a hot BBQ but love that they give the gulls some serious competition in the scavenging stakes.
