Did you know there are a limited number of wild venus fly traps in the Carolinas. The number is getting smaller so it is illegal to harvest them. All venus fly traps found in stores are from one plant taken from the wild and cloned. You will get a heavy fine if you take them from the wild.
I knew those are "protected" we dont see them that much, so indeed good to leave them in their habitat.
