We have a large heard of elk and it crosses the highway about 5 miles west of us. I call it traffic jam in North Idaho. I never seem to have my camera when I am waiting for them to cross. The highway patrol was directing traffic last week until they crossed and one young cow would not move on. Kept sticking it's head in the police's car windows. I caught it on the local news.
