THE NIGHT WATCH - PROTECTING THE SNAKE GOURDS
This is so cool!
For me, our garden is way more than simply a place for us to grow food. It's a place to be, but not just for us. The garden is being built and designed with the goal of having it be a place for animals to be too. I talk more about my garden philosophy in this video.
Anyway, it's really working out well, and I can't hardly spend any time in the garden without noticing some wild creatures. Multiple nights in a row I've noticed this Prairie Lizard (Sceloporus undulatus) up in the Snake Gourd trellis.
It's so cool for me for many reasons. First off, I love seeing lizards around. Also, they feast upon garden pests. Moreover, just the fact that it doesn't mind sleeping up in the "canopy" of our Snake Gourd vines is amazing. It was late and these photos were taken with a flashlight, so they are not the best quality, but perhaps you'll still be able to enjoy them. The lizard was sleeping about 8 or 9 feet above ground. Enjoy!
Diversity is Paramount to a gardens success and you really have a broad diversity hahaha
Welp..... papa you were my first test to see how much my vote is worth after the Hardfork and it went from $0.05 to $0.03 it looks like. Somewhat of a large percentage drop though.
I don't think we can tell yet. Mine has stayed the same at $0.03 so far on Papa's post but your reply only got $0.01.
My curation trail hasn't worked though.
