Wonderful write-up! I especially agree with that last part.
I feel that the mainstream media has failed us because:
- They continue to run their 24-hour reports on stories that haven't even developed new details yet, when there are plenty of pressing issues.
- When global warming pops up in the news, they always take a neutral approach to the situation, as if they are scared to educate people. They need to drive facts through and call out blatant lies.
If those two things changed plenty of people around the world (mostly US) would be more educated on problems that actually matter instead of short sighted talking points.
Thanks for the high praise.. yes yes.. this is why I just do whatever I can do to promote Sustainability to as many people as I can reach out to. In the end it's us who have to make the decisions and then the rest can follow.
Thank god we have SO much more than just mainstream media these days!
