Oh, too bad you cannot walk to the river but I guess it's still nice since it's not a long distance by car. Any chance of biking there when the weather is a bit nicer? :)
Yes, me and my family have a decent sized garden where we grow some fruits and quite a lot of veggies typicial for our country/area. I shared posts about it before and I will do it again when the gardening season starts.
Well, I'm not actually sure how close the nearest river (deep enough to swim in) is. I'm quite new here. Need to explore. There's a reservoir about 15 Kms away near Kyustendil where I go to shop once or twice a week, so when it's warm enough I combine shipping and swimming so not wasting fuel/polluting. Probably a bit too far to cycle (especially as I haven't got a bike, yet 🙂).
I bought quite a lot of seeds back from the UK so I'll likely start to germinate them inside very soon. I need to find out when the last frost date is around here so I can calculate when to begin.
Sounds nice! I like how you combine two activities in one go. And yes, it seems like it would be a bit too much for a bike ride, at least for me and my shape, I know I wouldn't make it, haha.
I hope you'll share your gardening experience here with us. With all these weather changes frost can be a tricky thing, we also need to figure out the best time to start planting the seeds. It's amazing to follow the growing process and enjoy the fresh veggies/fruits. :)
