This one in the river my city's built on, an hour northeast, upstream, far enough from the lights to be fully inside the stars, lightning bugs, darkness of air and water, cold enough water to make you breathe right, breathe deep, breathe it all in and out.
We are alive. I don't know what that means, but it's true.
