Landscapephotography: Late Summer at the Beaver Pond
It's a sultry and overcast day at the beaver pond. Late summer so the water is low and algae has formed on it. As I walked up, two ducks in its center spotted me and took flight, really the only sound. What you can't see to the left, are the houses hidden behind the trees for you are in the city, actually on the very edge of it.

Feels like silence ...
Such silence is so lacking in a noisy city!
The closest industry is high tech so that is pretty quiet too. You might hear the occasional fire truck, ambulance or police siren, or ducks quacking.

You would never know you were on the edge of the city by the looks of this photo, its so beautiful and peaceful looking.

Are there any beavers around?
I suspect there were originally but I doubt it now. They can wreak havoc with water levels so they would be trapped and moved. There are definitely beavers in the region.
