I am sure most do know and can recognise these Pelicans. They are really a big bird with a long beak and extensible throat for picking up the fishes or their preys.

More pelicans on this photo. The island in the centre of this lake is the "housing" provided for these pelicans and sea gulls.
These are found in the centre of Perth City, right inside Crown Hotel and Casino.

Now this pelican is in the wild. Taken in Albany near the pier and they flew there hoping to have food when the fisherman come in with their catch to sell to locals and tourists.

This photo is one on the Sea Gull. It was standing by itself, but looking so proud and regal. Glad that i managed to catch it.

The next 2 photos are Magpie. Which has been considered as one of the most intelligent in the world. But they have been caught for stealing objects and bring to their nests. I was told that they like shining objects so some people might get their jewellery stolen if they left their windows open and magpies were to get to them.

See all these Sea Gulls decided to post for us for this photos. It is not often that one can take them as big a group like this.

This was taken around 5.30pm, sunset time. They all gathered and rest on this ground when we came across them.
